Thanks to all for the warm welcome ; you really make me feel at home. I'm not a big poster
    but I read a lot.
To Karson, I for myself am a born French Canadian. Join the US Army and serve in the Vietnam War; got my US citizenship in in '73 in Florida. Came back in Quebec in '75. Still very proud of my citizenship.
Retired four years ago and took up woodworking. Got a small basement shop.

I've been to Weir and Arundel ; not too far from my place; went fishing down there.
    I've said enough.

    thanks again until next time

Pierre: The family immigrated to Canada from Ireland. They settled in Shrewsbury, then Arundel and Weir in Quebec. Arundel and Weir are the only two English speaking towns in that area.

One of the Morrison's have a restaurant in Arundel area. I understand that a lot of Montreal people come to eat at the restaurant.

We had a family reunion in Arundel about 5 years ago and some of the poeple stayed in Mont Tremblank.
