hey man. those cars on the display is nice, nice, nice. where can I get the patterns for them. I just got started in woodworking. I do not know how to do much things. all the help you could give would be much appreciated. thanks , pepsiman

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Check out my website ——If you like something; I will try to get you a pattern,many of the things I do patterns only partly exist.

I will try to help. To make letter patterns; cut rectangles(or squares) the same size out of a stiff paper. Then depending on the letter to be made—fold —for B, R, D, & O etc. I just fold down. For X I do quarters. You get the idea. Then mentally visualize the letter you want and cut. If you don’t like it; throw it away and do another. I use the same idea of paper visualization first to mke other patterns from.

Some of my simple cars etc are just—axel hole drilled on the drill press and then freehand cut!.

Fireplaces erase the mistakes quite rapidly when needed.
Do the first few at least on expendable wood; not the spendy stuff.
