Craftsman Table

This is a craftsman style table I have in progress. It’s made of leftover mahogany from a past business project.

I hand chopped and cut all the mortise, tenons and dovetails.

I am planning matching benches with the same base scaled down. I think I will stain this set with a burgundy cherry I have on the shelf and spray it with Duravar.

Thanks guys.
I did fix the breadboard ends since the
pictures were taken.

Kaleb – Thanks for the compliment. You can do this.

Wow. Wish I had that kind of “leftover” mahogany laying around.

Love those dovetails. Is that a splined breadboard end?

Great work.

Thanks Pinto,

I did spline the breadboard ends and later I decided to change it. I now have it as a breadboard end mortise and tenon, pinned with square black walnut.

Have your say...
