My wife picked up some birthstone necklaces for my sisters grand-children and of course they came in these ugly cardboard boxes.
I just had to do something about this.
So down to the workshop I went and started cutting wood.
I think they turned out pretty good and I am sure that Willow and Annie will like these.
very nice, it's good to see someone making a gift with such care. plus making something out of wood is nice but making a memory out of it, just can't be beat.
At this time of year I am always asked to make various wooden stands for electronic devices.
This gives me the chance to use up some scrap wood.
These are quick and easy, and the designs are limitless and only bound by the imagination.
These are but a few of the types that I have made for my family and friends.

Great idea Paul. My wife already wants one. It occurred to me that the sliding stand could have narrow slider on the back. Same principal as your more simple stand. Thanks for posting this.
