I don’t know… STill cold up here in Maine. Very cold. and it will be for awhile yet. Dumb geese?

funny thing is that the wife and I have been wanting to grab our teardrop trailer and head south. I’ve been all over but never to Louisianna. Thing is, every time I look on the weather channel app it shows that the gulf isn’t much warmer than it is here. I don’t want to drive south over a few days and find the same temperatures that I have here. Geesh…

-- The smell of wood, coffee in the cup, the wife let's me do my thing, the lake is peaceful.

Come west young man! Come West! The Pacific NW is very tolerable. 55 and sunny. Will get some rain later in the week, but will have 50s and sun breaks ;-) Geese know what they are doing ;-))

Leaving to run errands the other day
we saw a Flock of about 50 or so Robins!
Do they know something we don’t?
Or are they just dumb birds?
One can only hope!!
It has been the Coldest Winter here
that either Debbie or I can remember…
And if we get another foot+ like they’re predicting tomorrow
we’re going to run short of Parking Area,
with all the snow piled from the past storms!

I can’t believe every one saying they do not remember temps this cold for this country. I remember it being below 0 for a solid month when I was a kid on the farm in southern Idaho. I always thought the Midwest and east coast were colder than we were.

Dad,
I hope those pictures aren’t photoshopped!!!
It would be “cruel & unusual punishment”....
To give false hope to the frozen!!!

hey joe
just stabilizing the trusses you saw already
(and setting the course lines for later)
so i can stack the rest on there against them
if i place them now
i won’t be able to get the rest up
as the space going up
will be to tight to do that
still got 16 to go yet

We have to be optimistic and spring will come. It is still cold here in Mass with a storm coming. I am going to have to sit this one out, I pinched my sciatica nerve and taking oxycodone for the pain. Before taking the pain med I could not walk, sit ,or lay down. Wishing you well.

sorry to hear that don
did 4 months of the sciatica
with nothing but aspirin and other over the counter stuff
same problem with sitting standing or laying down
couldn’t get the docs to give me anything
or even touch me
got a shot of cortizone finally
it loosened me up enough
where my chiro popped me
for $30
the hospital and docs
sent me a bill for $1,200

I just think they are CONFUSED. We are going to get hit with yet another storm here. If they are looking for some green pastures up this way, they are going to be kind of out of luck! Maybe after the 3 feet of snow melts . . . ;)
