well here it is Christmas day
and i just finished my breakfast
thanks to some gifts that arrived

as i had been buying things on the net
for myself and some work projects
i was getting many ups notices online
two of them almost got lost
but not quite

the first was from my LJ buddy Tom (ND2ELK)
and was a total surprise

.
as i had recently received a frying pan
for my eggs from LJ buddy Joe Lyddon

it seemed proper to have a deer sausage
and egg breakfast this morning

well yesterday
another package arrived
from my LJ buddy Kent Shepherd
one of his world famous bubinga and maple
turned mallets

.
which i quickly realized
was really an egg beater
in disguise

.
well i proceeded to make breakfast
and enjoyed all these wonderful
gifts
as i considered how blessed i am
to have so many wonderful friends here

beginner or master
hobbyist or pro

for me more than the projects
it’s the kind and caring hearts
of LJ’s that touch me

THANK YOU ALL
MERRY CHRISTMAS
AND HAVE A GREAT
NEW YEAR !

David, if anyone can find a new use for a tool it is you. :) I wish you and yours have the Merriest of Christmases and in the coming New Year I hope that you have a happy and prosperous New Year and many more to come. I know that you will be blessed because you have been a blessing to so many people on Lumberjocks including myself. :)

And all I had was a bowl of cereal! ( I’m not very domesticated, I prefer food that’s fast, easy and doesn’t make a mess!)
You received some great gifts. Enjoy the rest of the day, Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas David. And enjoy your treats.

I had a Belgium Waffle today from my sons new waffle iron. Very tasty with some Maple syrup.
