I’m unable to work in my shop right now cause it’s packed up for a move, so I decided to make an animated presentation to briefly describe wood movement on a table top. Watch the video here.

I know that when we install wood fences or gates we also use cleats and screws to ensure that the wood is allowed its space during the changing seasons. Especially for outdoor furniture which might be even more affected by the weather!
