Saturday Alison and I went to visit a fellow Lumberjock and were blessed. It is wonderful to have someone that smart so near.
Thanks again Gary.
While I was there I bought a router lift and that started a buying frenzy on line that has ended today in the delivery of
1 27-inch x 43-inch offset router table top
2 17-Inch Range LS Super System
3 Porter Cable 7518-2 router
I now realize now why a 500 sq foot (minimum) concrete floor workshop is a necessary addition for any woodworker.
Next I will be buying a table saw and the best dust removal system that I can buy.
Who knows,
I might even build something,

I have discovered that woodworking involves at least three hobbies:
Collecting and researching and talking about tools
Collecting and researching and talking about wood
Actually building stuff.
Lord, help me remember to make building stuff the end result of all the time and money I am spending.

put that wish list in a chest
and start making things with what you have
you will be surpriced how good you will be to
work around the lack of a specific tool
not that I want it to be like that myself but with a budget on zero it have to be so
there is several ways to skin the cat :-)

I have realized that there is a fourth part to this woodworking hobby:
In cooking there are some who collect recipe books but never quite make it to the stove or oven
So in addition to the following three activities;
Collecting and researching and talking about tools
Collecting and researching and talking about wood
actually building stuff.
There should be added a fourth:
Collecting Plans and pictures of builds that range from the practical to the useless
Oh no!!! Whats happened? I am hooked!!! ( :oÞ)

Have your say...
