I just watched a video by Mike Pearce about chucking wood on a lathe. Its on You tube and was one of the best informational videos I have seen. If you work with a lathe this is one video you should watch. He shows all the ins and out of holding wood with chucks, between centers, vaccum chucking and every other holding device you would or could use. It is almost an hour and a half long but well worth watching for pros and amateur alike. Enjoy.
