Homedepot gives a discount for veterans. i happen to find out when to check out lady seen my Verteran card when i took out my debt card. Saved me 21.00. Hope this can save you some money.

This seems to be hit & miss with HD. I had heard same and checked several local home depots. A few said that they offer a 10% discount on Veterans Day only and the rest did nothing.

What is a Veteran’s card? I have a copy of my DD-214.

I work part time at a Lowe’s in TX. The store I work for also allows a Vet’s discount. I don’t know how much or if this is a nationwide policy or a local one.

I know that the Lowe’s here in Kentucky will give a 10% veteran’s discount with a picture id. They do not accept a DD214.
