The Adirondack style chair plans I used as a guide called for a 25 degree recline. I was challenged to modify the dimensions for ultimate comfort. After some trial and error, I found 17 ½ degrees was perfect. This positioning of the seat back allows the person to eat, drink, or read a book. The dimensions for the chair’s height from ground to top of the center back-slat is 38 inches.
