Found a Eucalyptus log and planed down a branch

Pen blank? Nice spalting, I was stoked to find that.

I’m also thinking knife handle. Ive been wanting to try making my own blade from an old table saw blade. This would be a sweet handle and I don’t have a pen mandrel yet for the lathe anyhow… lol

I grabbed some big logs too

this stuff grows all over where I live. I owe it to the wood gods to make use of these downed logs for a useful purpose.
