I'm a wood-crazed lumber hoarder who enjoys exploring locally for wood i can use to make stuff in my shop.

I'm new to the game, but very inspired. I'm glad I found this site, I'm excited to interact with other wood lovers, because nobody else UNDERSTANDS ME!

I’m so stoked. Thanks for the warm welcome. Check out these Mulberry boards I made from a log off an OLD black mulberry tree that fell apart from some force of nature. I promised my girlfriend a jewelry box, but my table saw motor conked out recently :( I can’t post projects yet, im too new

I appreciate the comments you posted regarding my walking sticks. I have spent the last few years focusing on English and Irish style walking sticks. There are some amazing stick makers out there and I have gotten a lot of inspiration from members of LJ’s. I would recommend looking into a book that really helped me go to the next level making sticks. “Stick making a Complete Course” by Andrew Jones and Clive George. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or ideas, I like to teach what I can and learn something new too.
