Not yet finished, but not counting them in my sleep yet either. After 90 spindles and standing in front of the Legacy machine for 10 to 12 hours in the past 4 weeks this job is getting tiring. Made 10of them for the fire place, but their are going to be a few mistakes or OPP’S.
And then after three design changes from the customer, and two days down time with a touch of the flew I’ll maybe get this job out of the shop. This is giving me a good lesson on how to set-up jobs on the legacy better. I still have the newel post to turn, 8 = 4 X 4,With ball’s for all 8 and one corner post 9” 1/2”. Then I talked the customer into having me finish all the spindles, ( Just so I can make more money )
Photo’s to follow when finished.

Doug, you’re gonna need a break after that job! Tell the customer the office is closed for design changes and get on to the next job!.

Glad to hear your still trudging away at it. At this point, is the Legacy still your friend or now a hated enemy? That repititious work can get straining sometimes.
Keep up the good work. I would love to stop in and check out your setup sometime if I’m ever over that way. I have a brother that lives in Kentwood.
Look forward to some pics. Thanks.
