I’ve been wanting to build this router table before anything else in the shop as it will help me craft the rest of my pieces. I am building the shopnotes#1 router table and is has turned out to be a bit overkill for a router table. So far the base is complete and the top has been laminated. I still need to band the edges of the table, create the mitre track, and create the router plate cutout (a lot left to do.)

Any thoughts on shop setup are greatly appreciated. esp. if anyone has some good forum threads to recommend.

I reall like the base of 2×4’s and the neat but simple enough joinery. Thanks for posting, I’ll have to use this soon. A great option for an afforadable and durable table.

Hey nice work, looks very strong. Doesn’t need to be painted, beautiful enough.
