Thanks for the warm welcome folks. I am a hobbyist working out of my garage when time permits. Mostly cabinets and furniture. I am in the market for a few new tools, mainly a table saw, which is how I found this forum. Additionally, I plan to add a few things to the garage in an effort to better organize it and make it easier to work out there. You posts have been a great help in finding ideas and your opinions on table saw choices have been very informative. I am fairly certain about the Grizzly G0661 but still debating between it and the G0691 since the 661 is not in stock at the moment. I really just want to find something well suited to what I need it for, and something that I wont end up needing to replace any time soon. Thanks, and looking forward to reading more of your posts here.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom
