Dianond Willow #1: Footstool
I’m not much of a writer but wanted to share my experiences with my new found passion Diamond Willow. I don’t have many tools or resources but have the willingness to learn as i go from my mistakes and work with what i have. So with that said here we go. This is a work in progress.My first attempt at a foot stool The tenons are carved by hand. I just drilled the proper sized mortise in a piece of scrap and kept testing the fit and carve some more till i got the right depth. Just waiting to be glued and sanded. I’m undecided on how to finish the top, maybe weaved with twin. We’ll see if i can find something interesting in the wood pile. I just might try ri...
