I am mostly into scroll saw work but enjoy any time I can get out into my shop. I am active duty Military and end up too busy or just not in the area. I have a 1.5 car garage that I have made into my wood shop. Most of my wood supply comes from the side of the road or from my father, who is also into woodworking.

Welcome to LJ’s. I joined about several weeks ago and it is a treasure trove. A showcase of projects, reviews, a place to present questions, and much more. Explore the site you’ll come back to it every day as I do.

I Thank you all for the warm welcome. I have been on the road the last few weeks and was suprised at how much feed back I got. I look forward to being home soon and have some time to look at the new projects and work on some of my pile of projects that never seems to get smaller.

Thanks for kind words. I already discowered Steve Good- his work is amaizing. Scrallsaw is very fun. I see my scrallsaw projects as improvement for other projects but also as projects for itself.
P.S. I added you to budies list but don’t know your name. Congratulation for military service-great secryfice.

Ivan, My first name is Spencer. I have been scrolling for about 7 years but I enjoy doing any kind of wood work. I had a supervisor in the military show me some of the projects he had with the scroll saw and that got me started. I am still not home and cannot wait to get home to family and my shop. Only good thing about my travel is that I try to find new types of wood and woodworking stores. I will also add you to my buddy list will post more of my projects when I do get home.

Have your say...
