« Part 1: Hollow log Part 2 of Living in Costa Rica series no next part

Day three of my lumberjacks blog ( when I typed blog, it came up red, I had to add it to my dictionary that’s how much out of main stream I am, its not a word but one of the most used ways for people to communicate and about what we are doing. Wow, here I am in Costa Rica having casual communication with people from all over the world.
I haven’t found all the buttons yet but as soon as I can I will find a way to show you my photos. of the log and how it is to live here.
I will be seventy on my next birthday and I ride a motorcycle almost everywhere I go, it’s a good way to get around here in Costa Rica.
I just found out that the wood working tools that I bought a couple weeks ago will arrive tomorrow, I was told it would be four to six weeks, now I’m stuck with having them around and not being able to unpack and stroke them, because the place they are going won’t be ready for a couple weeks or more.
I was lucky to find this guy in NJ that was quitting wooding (a new word) business because of his heath and I’m getting into it for my heath. Or start making basket. My hands love to touch and stroke wood. I did my first art with this piece of wood a friend gave me. It was cut off the end of a 8×10 beam 10ft long from a Guapinol tree also , there is a cavity caused by insect or other. One of these days and when I learn how, I will post it.

looking forward to more from costa rica, sounds like your gonna have a few fish out of water and challenging woodworking stories and I know how that feels living in someone elses country.

I can’t wait to see the pics!
I have a brother who lives in Tortuguero, I have never been there but judging by the pictures I have seen that’s a real paradise!
