Well I finally decided to get rid of my one remaining power tool, a 2HP Ryobi router with 3 bases and a case of bits. Today I fired it up and ran it over a board with a few different bits just to test it out, and I probably created more sawdust in ten minutes than I have in the past six months with hand tools.
Now I see why you guys fuss so much over dust extraction! Man oh man.
So anyway, I’ve posted an ad for my router over in the Forums, so go check it out if you’re interested and have some hand tools to send me in return!
