The Japanese ryoba saw I just got (and blogged about and reviewed) ended up costing me a total of $20 including shipping right to my door here in Malaysia. This is all thanks to MyPoints, so I thought I’d put in a little plug in here for them.
MyPoints awards you points for reading promotional emails, responding to surveys and buying stuff from their sponsors. Accumulate enough points and you can “cash them in” for real cash – usually in the way of gift cards or online vouchers. The $25 online voucher I got for Amazon.com cost me 3,750 points and took me about 9 months to accumulate. And that’s without spending a dime! Of course, if you take advantage of some of their sponsors’ offers, the points would accumulate more quickly. I’m already up to 350 points since cashing in last month. 10% of the way towards Schwarz’s book!
So anyway, if you can spare 5-10 minutes a day, it will add up and give you some “free money” to use on tools or books! And while I’m here (and while you’re here), if you let me invite you to MyPoints I’ll get an additional 100 points per person. I wasn’t posting this to schmooze points, though – merely to inform you about it – so if you just go and sign up yourself I won’t be offended.
