Is this set up any good? Or does HF carry a different HVLP that I should be looking at?

I’m not sure which one you’re referring to, but I’ve used the HF cheap HVLP guns both for wood finishing and auto painting (which demands a pretty good gun to do a credible paint job), and they have always done a very good job. That’s not to say that a $200-300 gun might not be better, but on a budget, I don’t think you can beat ‘em. A good deal of the result lies with user, not the tool, just like in woodworking.-SST

Sorry my link was wrong. I was thinking of two different systems one is turbine the other is a gun
