Third paragraph on your web page. Starts the para with a period.

Overall it looks good. I think that the header is to big and the font is a little to big as well. Also I would make a dedicated home page. Something that has a stunning picture of your work and a quite welcome message. Then what that does is make people navigate your site and go to the other pages.

But the layout and content is great. Good luck

Nice job on your web site Bob. Opens fast, tells the story. Easy to navigate.

The only thing I don’t like is seeing your e mail address posted. This is a sure fire way of getting picked up by the spamers out there. Your form is the better way to go, as long as it works. Sometimes forms are a bit tricky.

Bob,

Considering it is your first site, you did a good job! But a few issues exist:

I assume this is a templated site frame, so you maybe limited to control of layout?

The header is MUCH too big – it needs to be reduced by 60-70% unless you make it more graphic.

I suggest doing a little more with your Company name to create a logo not just pure text. It will give your Company a brand and identity. Also your tag lin custom woodworking and scented candles—-try to be more imaginative and branding.

The font is too large for most screens and view. I think your content is good but does not flow on the home page to keep fast interest.

Remember people do not read website home pages they “skim for content” and then click to get the info they want – if they cannot find relevant content on the home page in the first 3 seconds they are off your site. So I suggest working on your home page for an attractive layout and sold fast read content.

Send me an email and I will be happy to give you some offline free advice:

last sentence in the first paragraph is a question (needs ?)
and I’d throw links to your work throughout the paragraphs, or at least again at the bottom. You have me interested. Now, I don’t want to have to figure out how to find your products.. I just want to be told “click here”.
We, internet surfers, are lazy folk :)

Attractive looking page, but the message should be shorter, & with more pictures on your home page.

Pictures speak louder than words.
