As stated in my profile I have a 9×11 area to work with. In the entry way there is a built in tool cabinet, a work bench, and my lathe which is just an old ShopSmith that is permanently attached to the wall. The rest of the shop consists of a Delta 10” TS, a Delta 10” mitre saw, a Delta 12” portable planer, a Delta 4” belt/6” disc sander, a Cummins Mack 14” band saw, a 6” Craftsman jointer, and a drill press. The router in the router table is a Freud 3-1/4 HP FT2000E.

Any way, thanks for checking out my shop. Please feel free to make suggestions on how I might make better use of the space. Take care.

I commend your efficiency; I complain about my 13×21 shop, I don’t know how I’d fit anything into a 9×11 space but it looks like you did a good job.

You’ve got a GREAT selection of tools.

As to how you use your space: there’s only so many ways to get ten gallons of water into a five gallon bucket :-)

... and it looks like your layout is working fine ! Are most thing on wheels ? That’s the only thing I could think of.

Very nice shop !

Doug, it looks like you have a nice shop in which to work. You have it organized well and you appear to have utilized the space that you have pretty well. You also have managed to put together a nice collection of tools.

Thanks for taking the time to give us a tour of your shop. I enjoyed visiting it.

I have to agree with Neil, you have a GREAT selection of tools! With that shop layout you have certainly utilized every inch to the fullest. It is a great set up and I look forward to viewing the projects that will be coming out of that shop.
