This is just a quick video of me using a restored jointer plane that a got quite a while ago.
Let me know what you think. I’d appreciate any hints on how to properly use such a large plane. Thanks.

Looks to me like you’ve got the hang of it. Practice, practice, practice. That’s what it takes. Enjoy you newly restored plane.

DOUG: TENGO UN PAR DE ESOS HANDSPLANES Y ENTIENDO QUE SON PARA UNA SUPERFICIE GRANDE COMO CUANDO EMPAREJAS LA TAPA DEL WORKBENCH: EL HANDSPLANE SE DESLIZA IMPULSADO POR SU PROPIO PESO, O SEA QUE SÓLO DEBES GUIARLO ;-)
PARA ESE BORDE QUE REBAJASTE EN ESE EXCELENTE VIDEO, EXISTEN HANDSPLANS MÁS PEQUEÑOS ;-)
IMAGINA QUE ÉSTOS PLANOS CON GABINETE DE MADERA, ERAN USADOS PARA GRANDES SUPERFICIES COMO BARCOS O TIRANTERÍA ;-)

Wonderful plane.
Lovely to see it making shaves.
