One Down One to Go

Whew! Made it through another CHRISTmas. Not that it was bad or anything, it’s so busy that a couple of days rest is needed afterwards is needed. I hope that you and yours had a great time celebrating the season. Another year has gone and another is upon us. Can you believe it? In my last blog I discussed how I was in the process of gluing up one of the pedestals of our dining room table. Well, here is the finished product;

Refinishing this was more daunting than I expected. I did enjoy the challenges I faced along the way. After the first of the year I plan to do the same thing to the other pedestal. I learned some valuable lessons on the first one. Once I get the second pedestal done I’ll move on to the table top. If it wasn’t for the end result I don’t think my wife would agree to going without the dining room table for such an extended time period. I’ll post more as time goes by.
