Table saw tune up is something that no matter what seems to take me forever. I spent probably four hours making the various adjustments neccessary to make accurate cuts. Granted the bulk of that was removing my TS fence rail in order to reposition it a little (I only raised it 1/8”). When I originally put the fence rail on it was too low. This caused my fence to bind and it really became a pain. So off it came so I could elongate the mounting holes. I’m pleased with the results. What’s more important is that I was finally able to remove my old router table so that I could have more room in my shop. It didn’t take long and getting that old thing out of the shop made a huge difference. Now the trick is to make sure that I don’t bring any more junk in. Tomorrow I’ll go back at it again and hopefull by the time you hear from me again I’ll have my new router table top mounted to my TS.
