Well today is the last day of my almost three week vacation. Among other things I’ve been Playing Nurse, Being a Bicyclist and Of Course a Woodworker. I did get the one thing that I wanted to done which was to finish my first Rocking horse. This project has been so enjoyable because I get to use many of my tools that don’t get used that often otherwise. I’ve also pretty much made decisions on ones that could serve someone else better than me, since they’ve not been used since I purchased them. And they seem to be just taking up space at this point. One of which is my Craftsman Jointer that I’m not sure why I bought it anyway since most of my projects are out of store bought lumber. There used to be a guy around the corner from me that sold rough cut lumber, but he went out of business. So now the closest place is 50 miles. Although I live in a 2 year old house I have nothing to really build for it, so the rocking horses and other projects that I’m asked to build for people are pretty much it. Hopefully I can turn something into a little of a side deal since I do love woodworking so much. Otherwise my tools will just collect dust. Oh well that’s enough rambling for me. Time for early Sunday morning breakfast with my closest friend of almost 35 years. Back to work tomorrow.

-- Craig , Woodworking is what I love to do. Trucking is what I have to do.
