Not that this is a huge great idea
but I had never thought of it
I used to buy shop hand towels and
my Ex would say what a waste.
So I went to the local thrift store and
bought a bunch of old beach towels and cut them
up and now she is happy and I get to destroy towels and
not feel like I am wasting so much.
Every little bit helps these day

I like the idea. Thanks I go to thrift stores all the time for books, and now will look for towels.

i dress myself in plain white v neck t shirts and buy them at wal mart by the bag .
must have 50 of them , when i pull one out of the laundry thats to far gone
i throw it in the shop , and use it to wipe dust when finishing ,
no lint , no looking for rags anymore .
when they are stiff throw them away.

worn out socks work well in the shop. the wife uses the worn out underware for cleaning, I get the socks for paint, stain, oils, etc…
