We have completed a number of projects in the backyard over the summer and this is the latest addition. The screen’s are placed around the fire pit and provide some additional privacy. Earlier in the year we added the same type screen next to our patio on the other end of the yard. Received a number of compliments and as such provided support to the neighbors in building similar type screens for added privacy in their yards.

We just finished this storage unit from the garage into the house. We used mostly left over lumber from the house that was left by the Home Builder. Only had to buy the beadboard.

We decided to add to our previously constructed privacy fence. One additional section. I think it’s finally complete until we add the climbing plants to the back side next spring.

My son and I built this custom fly rod jig that he will use to build rods. He found a picture as a go-by and actuall;y did most of the work. I made a few of the cuts. Maybe I’ll get the first, no the second rod he builds.
It was fun to build together. I’ll post some more when he gets all of the tools connected.

Just completed a little work in the backyard for privacy with some lattice. Next step will be to plant some vines to work there way up the lattice.

I built this rack for the kids in the mountains. It is a catch all for shoes and winter hats, gloves etc.

I built this a few months ago and just found the pictures. It is red oak, mortise and tenon joints with an oak plywood top. The top compartments is built but still have to finish and assemble.

A small project at our sons house for the little ones jackets, shoes junk etc. Small step stool for the grandkids so they can reach the sink. Please don’t notice the stains on the steps from the both of them.

Saw this portable compressor stand and decided I had to have some way to move it around rather than tripping around it. I’m now thinking about putting blinkers and reverse on it…..

I’ve built a number of these todate. Purplehart and hard maple. I watched the wood whisperer make them. Pretty neat. My first was done without a planer lots of sanding.

My wife asked for a small bookshelf to store our grandchildrens video’s and books in our master bedroom. It is made from red oak and was basically made from a picture of a bookshelf that I found. I’m am planning on making a similar self at one of our sons home’s as a built in and wanted to see what it would look like.

My new daughter-in-law requested that I build a wagon as part of her wedding to our son. Our other son’s children rode in in down the aisle. It worked and didn’t throw a wheel during the ceremony….I found the pattern on the internet. It’s all red oak with the exeception of the wheels. It was my first project and it now sits in our kids living room as a planter.
