Butcher Block Benchtop - 6 replies I was wondering if anyone uses a butcher block counter blank for their workbench top. The local Menards has them on a three day sale with a $80 rebate. I don’t have much room in my garage, and had an idea for making a collapsable work surface. Pros, Cons, opinions? Thanks, Chris |

Should I do it? - 1 reply I’ve been looking for a good bandsaw on CL for a while. I found this about 2 hours away. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this bandsaw and if it was a good buy. I am well aware of Powermatics reputation. Just hard pressed to drop 450 when I can get a new Grizzly for the same price. http://quadcities.craigslist.org/tls/2... |

Question about No. 95 - 4 replies I saw a video on Popular Woodworking Magazine where Chris Schwarz was using a #95 to clean up an edge. My question is would you be able to joint an edge with a # 95 if you have a flat face? Thanks, Chris http://www.blip.tv/file/4487951?utm_source=player_embedded |
