We are a small family owned company from La, Ceiba, Honduras. We mostly do commision works and sometimes we sell to souvenirs and some other gift shops around out city.
We started about 2.3 years ago, with an idea of my dad, he being a 50+ year woodworker, who as he said, was tired of dealing with 8x8 to do doors, cabinets and all those huge things he used to do, he wanted to do small things, toys specially.
So with he, my wife, my mom, sister, brothers and cousins we are always trying to do small and neat stuff that we can sell and keep providing for our families, as this is our principal income.
We are blessed to live in a tropical rainforest, and thus we have a wonderful selections of exotic(to you) woods that we do use of them. Nowadays, some of them are difficult to obtain (Rosewood has been banned from cutting) and others are becoming too expensive to buy. But as we do small things most of the time, a small piece can go a long way.
On the other hand, find tools, parts and hardware if almost impossible in my country, so we sometimes have to "improvise", that means cutting, welding, soldering and all those other things that we have to do to make things work again.
C'est la vie
I thank you for reading that far, and if there is something i can be of help from this distant part of the globe, i am just an email away!
