This is my shop being built. It’s done now, I just haven’t moved in yet (still have to put down an epoxy floor). A dedicated shop of my own has been a dream of mine for a long time and it FINALLY CAME TRUE!!

I’ll post more when I get it put together.

Looks great! I’m always envious of people with shops that aren’t in the basement (where mine is). What are the dimensions?

20 X 22 with dedicated sub-panel and 130 amps. Two opposing 8” doors that make a HUGE breeze-way.

I am looking forward to seeing more pictures of your shop. I think that it is great to have an area separated from the house for a shop. Epoxying the floor will be a good idea as well. It will help to brighten up the shop and make clean-up easier.

a1Jim -

I’m putting the epoxy floor down this week. I’ve been meaning to put a post up thanking everyone who posted to my question about 1-part vs. 2-part epoxy. Everyone here at LJ gave me awesome advice and really help me make my choice.

I’ll try to get some updated pictures ASAP. I have a 4 day golf trip this weekend up in Oklahoma. I’m torn weather to finish epoxying the shop or practice my golf swing :-)
