Recently retired electrician. Wood projects have mostly involved construction, remodeling and utilitarian furnishings (beds, storage cabinets, etc.) I'm hoping that now that work is no longer interfering with life I'll have time to engage some more esoteric projects. We'll see. Time still doesn't seem to be at less of a premium.

Thanks for the welcome. It seemed like a good community to acquaint myself with. Lots of knowledge and helpful attitudes. At first I thought some of your project posts would inspire some productivity. But as I look at some of the pieces you guys produce about the only thing I’m inspired to do is burn everything I’ve ever made, give away all my tools and take up bricklaying.
