In another conversation about the 4100 I mentioned an outfeed extension I made for mine, and I thought I’d post some pictures. This is made to add onto the Bosch-produced extension (the metal bits). The Bosch extension is fine for 90% of what I do, but when ripping things upwards of 4 feet, it’s nice to have a little more. This locks into the little grooves intended for miter slot clearance and sits just below the metal extension to avoid snags. It folds up for easy storage. Maybe the best 30 minutes I’ve spent in the shop!

man thats a great idea….mind if I borrow it???? I just got make 4100 with the bot extensions….so far I like the saw….seems to work good…I have mine on sight mostly…...
