Hey fellow LumberJocks, I’d like to inform you that I’m leaving for vacation tomorrow. We’re flying to Cuba for 16 days together with my Alenka and her parents. Instead of staying in just one resort we’ll be traveling across whole island so it sounds like quite an adventure… and for me the biggest part of the adventure will be definitely flying because I’m scared of flying so wish me luck please ;)

Anyways here is a little sneak peek at what is coming when I get back in May:

  • more new cool features of course
  • top secret video challenge with our famous Wood Whisperer
  • LumberJocks Podcast starting with Interviews show by Erik
  • brainstorming of Summer Awards themes
  • and more…

So be nice and friendly here – as you always are ;)

I’m looking forward to your blog entry after your safe return …
May the angels be flying under the wings ;)

I’m really excited about the upcoming LJ things: “more new cool features” (of course we don’t see what those might be); “top secret video” (another secret).. boy you are really free with your plans, aren’t you!!!

Have a great and well-deserved relaxation/fun/trip

Have a good trip Martin

So, you are scared to fly ha…

Let me tell you that I was 36 years in aviation and I think that to fly is the safest way of transportation, I’m scared when I drive to and from the airport.

Any time that you get scared, look outside through the window, if you see that you are leveled and not in some abnormal attitude everything is ok and you can continue to sleep.
Believe me, I was “up-their” at 35,000 feet for more than 14,000 hours.

Wish you all a very pleasant trip

So we are on countdown for Martin’s return. It sounds like about 3 more days until he is back, but not sure. I bet he will be surprised at all that has happened while he was away.

Hola everybody.. I’m back again ;) had no chance to connect to the internet on Cuba. I’ve just arrived home few hours ago and now I need to go through tons of emails. I will post some photos as soon as possible.

Hola yourself,
I just signed in, & discovered this. You’ve been dearly missed. I hope you had a great vacation.

Thanks Dick. Yes, we’ve had an excellent time. Visited all of the 14 cuban provinces and spent last 2 days on Varadero to enjoy well deserved relax. But Varadero is not real Cuba so I’m very pleased with the whole trip.

Now it seems like I need to hire an assistant to help me with keeping up with all of the things happening here ;)
