LumberJocks.com has reached a new milestone with 5000 registered woodworkers.

LumberJocks.com, online woodworking community, launched in March 2006 and has made a name for itself in the woodworking world. LumberJocks.com is quickly becoming the #1 online social network for woodworkers. The site’s structure and growing features allow members to easily connect with other woodworkers, post projects and blogs and compete in friendly competitions for fantastic prizes.

Woodworkers, men and women of all ages and skill levels, have showcased over 8,693 projects, 5,196 blogs, 405 reviews and 3,981 forum topics thus far.

According to the members, LumberJocks.com is more than just a site where people share the same interest; it’s a place where people share the same passion. “It’s one thing to share knowledge but it’s another thing to share passion. Hello Martin;

Again congratulations to you, and the Executive Director of Everything, Ms. Debbie.

You both deserve a big round of applause for the incredible work you’ve done and the obvious accomplishments made.

I have learned a lot here and truly hope to have inspired others to reach to higher levels in their own woodworking.

That press release was a very well written and quite accurate description of Lumberjocks. It is a friendly, very well organized and easy to use forum. It deserves to be number one!

I have made more close friends here, (in spite of the great distance between us), in my year here, than I have any where else during my lifetime. (maybe I should get out more, huh?).

Martin,

Through LJ I’ve learned a lot, made some friends, joined a local woodworking group, participated in the pen swap and more. Without a doubt Lumberjocks is the best online community, of any kind, that I’ve been part of. Thank you for building us such a great home. ;-)

And also a big THANKS to all the other ‘Jocks’ that make this a great community!

I am proud to be a member of this great community and I thank those of you that created this site for all to enjoy : ) I had been searching for a place to call “home” for a few years now and it is a wonderful thing to have finally found it !!! Thank you and congratulations on this milestone : )
