Entry period of the LJ Woodworking Awards Summer 2013 is now officially open and will close on July 31st. Here’s the theme:

Bandsaw Box With A Twist – “A bandsaw box with a twist”, you say? What kind of twist – an actual twist? A secret compartment? A beautiful inlay? A piece of jewelry? What? Well, it’s your bandsaw box, your project, and your twist! Surprise us with your Awards entry.

First you must have your entry posted as the LumberJocks project and then you just have to click on the green SUBMIT ENTRIES button on the Awards page.

Put on a Big Band record to play and use your Table Saw to
make a box...
a Band Saw Box... LOL

I assume most folks use a scroll saw anyways. I have a great idea, but my band saw doesn’t exist yet, and it would take me too much time to get my scroll saw in shape. Maybe after my daughter’s birthday party…
