Did you ever want to present your woodworking creations in an exciting interactive 3D viewer? Well, now you can do just that using our new LumberJocks Gallery feature:

Go to your “My Home” page and click on the VIEW GALLERY button to open your personal gallery:

An option to exclude the project from your Gallery Viewer is located on the project create/edit page. This way you can control which projects will be displayed in your gallery.
Plus it’s easy as 1-2-3 for the public to bookmark and share your gallery page by using the included BOOKMARK button as well as the visible link to your gallery.

Here’s the sample: Todd's Gallery
Have fun and proudly share your Woodworking Gallery… you may use it as your portfolio or just for fun.
Note that the gallery requires the latest Flash Player

Martin,
That is a really cool feature. Especially being able to link to it. Thanks Martin

I’m gonna dissent here, I don’t think the 3D part enhances the gallery experience at all. I prefer the current lightbox gallery used on the project pages. I like the idea of a full gallery, just not this implementation.

WOW! Martin.
You really surprised me with this new feature.
It sure is nice. What a beautiful way to display pictures.
I’m not sure if I fully understand how the Bookmark feature works.
Maybe you can explain how it works.

Martin,
You have simply got to stop this. When am I going to find the time to start, much less post, any projects and try to keep up with what is going on with the site. So much to do and so little time.
Seriously you don’t get enough accolades for the job that you do.
Thanks for all the effort you are putting into this site.

It is interesting, but I think I am with Damian. If there were some way to actually render the project into true 3-D it might be great.

Damian, this gallery is the additional feature. Our standard project pictures viewer is still there. Plus I want to add more views to the galleries: slideshow etc.
It’s a way to make LumberJocks unique and even more enjoyable ;)

Nice.
I like that the portrait/landscape views are both shown in full (unlike the large thumbnails on the main project page).
I guess it would be nice to see all three of the pictures for each project.
Thanks Martin. Keep it comming.

I realize it’s an additional feature Martin, I just feel the 3D approach is a bit gimmicky, and that something a tad simpler would provide a better user experience. Something along the lines of this or this
I see I’m in the minority though so I’ll just pipe down :)
