Welcome back everybody! This has been one of the worse days of LumberJocks as our database failed to start and recover early morning my time. I’ve spent whole day on this but only manage to make a few small positive steps before John from Escalate joined me from the other side of the globe. Things started to move in the right direction and I was happily demoted to a role of assistant :)
He was finally able to fix all the flaws and the database has been successfully recovered just a few minutes ago. Everything seems to be working fine so far and we will examine the issues that caused this in the near future.
Big thanks to John for his hard work and keep enjoying LJ.

Thanks Martin for the fix. I had to take an extra Zoloft to calm myself down. :-)

as a software and database developer, I am chuckling. I know too well the kind of day you’ve had.
Reminds me of when my doctor asked what I did for a living. He said, “Oh, you’re the one who fixes those computer glitches we hear about?” My reply was, “No, I’m the guy who creates those glitches.”
