Brave idea from our own MsDebbieP turned our to be very popular. Offering the talented LumberJocks to lead a niche class and teach other members some serious skills for free was the foundation of the LJ Woodworking Classes. Five classes have been already finished, two are just running and we already have three upcoming classes coming soon.
All the news about the Classes were hard to follow and everything was happening behind the scenes. Until now… new stylish and compact Classes page is live. It contains all the info about current, past and upcoming classes as well as about class certificates that you can request from Debbie if you participated in any class and completed the project.
There is also a bonus class subscription option. When you decide to follow the class and click on the Subscribe button you will be automatically notified when a new Class Session is available. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Keep enjoying free LJ Woodworking Classes!

At first I thought it wouldn’t add much, but looking at the page, it is going to be MUCH easier to follow the classes now. Thanks for the new functionality.

Nice work, MsDebbie and Martin. It’s looking good.

How come Lazy Larry’s End Grain Cutting Board Class isn’t on there? Otherwise, great addition. Nice to be able to see what’s going on.

Hey Martin, I would suggest an attached gallery for each class for participants to post their work.

MsDebbie,
I check Phil Edward’s plane making blog but could not find it in the LJ… maybe he posted his tutorial on his web. He could be considered past class teacher who is also excellent. Thanks.

thanks everyone.
Not sure what to do re: projects – participants haven’t been using the class tags for their projects. But we can keep trying :)

Martin and MsDebbie,
This is great for those of us who weren’t able to participate at the time of the class but might want to go back when we do have time to learn a new skill. Thanks for making it all easier for us!
