In case you dont’t know Woodshop News is now offering their magazine in digital version as well. I’ve just tried their sample issue and it looks very good – easy to navigate and convenient. You should give it a try.

Thanks Martin.
I checked it out, but even when I enlarge it the print is a little small. When I enlarge it on IE it gets grainy. I’m waiting for new my glasses , & that might help.

Thanks Martin. This is the only woodworking magazine I get. It is directed pretty much to the small or one man shop. My favorite feature is a profile of a different shop in each issue. (Dick….It also comes in a paper version.)

Their free issue I get is one of my most prized pieces of mail each month. The printed magazine is excellent, and I look at it before the “Bills”, and right after the “Checks” when it arrives in the mail. I have enjoyed their digital version as well, and if I remember correctly, it is the way I found out about the new lumberjocks website late last Spring.

Dick, if you click on the “Settings” tab you can choose the magnification, and also whether you see both pages or only one.

You can imagine just how large a single page view is on my new 22” wide flat-screen monitor.

Thanks for the tip Don, I hadn’t noticed the settings tab. Maybe when I get my new specks I’ll even be able to see things like that.

For those of you who do not have a subscription to Woodshop news, The first issue is free but I believe that you will need a subscription for the digital version and I thought it also said that you can select the digital version instead of the printed version.

I don’t know if you can get both.
