I think this is a great suggestion. It might be helpful for Dan to have some pre-formatted questions from LJ that can’t chceck into the chat, as well as, perhaps a question or two that might require some forethought or investigation to provide a good answer. I am new to the chat process and I found it a bit challenging at times to keep up with the typing of one question while mentally processing the answer to a question that popped up in the interim. One thing I did was prepare some references on a Word document that I had open at the same time as the chat window. This allowed me the ability to cut and paste some inofrmation for an answer and decrease typing time. Just a thought . . .

I hope I can join in, but that is the middle of the afternoon in California (2:30 PM). This is one of those topics I am interested in. If I miss the live chat, I will read the transcripts.

My questions would relate to – how do you get started – what do you need for your shipping of products – what do you need to set up your merchant accounts and accept credit cards/paypal – what are the positives of selling this way vs your own store on your own site – what are the negatives of selling this way

Sounds interesting, I keep saying, someday I’m going to sell something on ebay, but I’m hesitant to jump in.

I have a Son that’s always selling on ebay, but he lives too far away to get any help from.

I might join in, & at least watch what’s going on today.

My typing is a little slow, especially when I’m under pressure.LOL

well Dick, do what David suggested and prepare your questions ahead of time.. then you can just cut and paste them…
you could pop the questions in left and right and we’d think you were a speed-typist!!! :)

the chat transcript was helpful. Although, I wasn’t able to attend due to the timing. I like the blog/comment concept better, as it doesn’t require that we all sit down at one world time.
