Everybody is the winner in this Challenge since, for most of you, posting your first video online was really one challenging goal. And you all accomplished it with a great sense of humor – so you literally raised the bar.

To be honest we didn’t expect so many entries in just two weeks. What a nice surprise. And the best thing is that you’ve learned great new skill which you can proudly use here – sharing your own woodworking videos with your fellow LumberJocks. Marc, are you ready for some tough competition, ha?

Here are two lucky winners of LJ/TWW shirt from me plus Furnitology DVD and TWW Coffee Mug from Marc:

  • Schroeder
  • Chadnuesmeyer

And here are three lucky winners of LJ/TWW shirt from me plus Powermatic shirt and TWW Coffee Mug from Marc:

  • TheAggie
  • Paul
  • Don

Thank you all for being part of this Challenge!

Thanks to TWW and LJ for sponsoring the contest and congradulations to the winners. It was great fun making the video, learning some computer skills, and spending some time with my son (camera man, editor, and producer) He wants to know when the next one is.

This was a great challenge and a great idea. I feel I know alot of the people who’s work I admire, more personally. I went from not making any videos, to making the shop video, to seemingly being unable to make a blog entry without a video.

To everyone that made one! GREAT! Thank you! Good job. They were ALL good. I didn’t see a single one of them that wasn’t interesting and entertaining and I watched most of them more than once.

I see that this challenge has also spawned some howto videos and some tool review videos that, perhaps, wouldn’t have happened without the , “He did it, so I can too!”

Thanks to everyone and keep the videos coming!

Cheers!

I agree, Scott, we are all winners due to Martin’s great site. It’s become and important part of my woodworking like, and the friends I’ve made are wonderful.

Yes – we are all winners – thanks goes to Martin.

Congratulations everyone! This community and the ability to share, encourage and educate is perhaps one of our most important tools. The skill learned in this challenge are going to push the quality of this site to new heights!
