i got an old dulicmer needs frets and a reglue on the finger board. Along with a couple coats of varnish. Any body knows where to place the 61/2 fret give me a holler. need it to play “waltz across Texas”.
when i can get my son to put up a picture i’ll post it.

mrtmccc you can find plans for a dulcimer at diy network,just type in handmade dulcimer and it will take you to plans,maybe the placement is there.Hope this helps.

mrtmccc you can try stewmac they have a free placement chart for frets you just type in the number of frets and the lenght of the fingerboard it comes out automatically.
