I've been away from the shop for a few months, another issue came into my loves life so I've had to re-direct my attention for a while. We started treatments in May/June and I went back to work (so much for retirement). We all get a curve ball once in a while just have to keep on going. I still get to read your posts from time to time and enjoy them very much. I'll get back to it in time. Miss my shop and my bicycle.

North East near the Mo. boot heel, thanks greg. Your in a busy part of the state.

I see you like craftsman style, I do too, I guess its the simple lines, I’m going to try some green & green pieces I like the way they show off the joints and add little accents. Your small table is terrific and the chest is super. You won’t know now but in years to come your daughter may pick up the hobby too. I have some pieces my daughter did at that age, things made out of little blocks and pieces she put together to make funny faces, the first one was simply a board on which she drew pictures with a crayon, still on the wall of my shop.

Welcome to LJs. I like you style! Years back I canoed the Buffalo river, lovely part of the country you’re from. If your not too far from Eureka Springs, you are close to Doug Stowe’s studio, one of the premier box-makers and educators.
