Part 1: Mostly done
I’ve been working on building a Roubo try square that was in an article by Christopher Schwarz. I saw the layout square in the new magazine and it referenced this one. I went ahead and picked up the plans which helped a bunch on a few of the details. Here is the progress so far. The material is cherry, 3/4” handle, 1/4” blade resawn with my diston rip saw. Part 2: Pegged and finished
A couple nights ago I picked up a birch dowel and glued in the dowel pegs on the try squre. A coat of oil/varnish last night and some paste wax tonight finished up this little project.
