Baby Tender #8: More or less done

I haven’t posted on this in a while but I have pretty much finished the work. My son got it for his 1st birthday last weekend and his grandmother is making the bedding to go inside which will finish it up. Here are a few pics.

This is really beautiful, definitely unique. Could you describe the wood and finish you used?

The wood is traditional boat building materials, white cedar planking on QSWP frames and fixtures. Silicone brass fastenings and copper rivets for the planking. The finish is all french polish with blonde shellac. The inside of the hull got more coats after some of these pics were taken. The hardest part of the french polish was filling that oak grain by rubbing with pumice. Thanks for looking.
