Bench Utilities #2: Bench Hook

The first helper on my list has been a bench hook. Here is a pic of my old cross cutting helper.

Yes, that is a nail set dropped into a hole and it is a pretty sad way to try to hold work. Here is a shot of the bench hook I finished up tonight. The new one is MDF with a 1” x 1” QSWO fence and it works so much better!

Yep, I made a bench hook as one of my very first projects, then wondered what I did without it!
