Was you taking a tour along the canals in Bangkok on a long tail boat? I think I might have seen that house a while ago myself.

I was on a boat like that, but I was in a different city 80+ Kilometers to the north called Ayuttaya. This is the old capitol of Thailand. I also got to ride an elephant there.. Kind of cool.

Nice, I live about an hours drive from Ayutthaya. We go there for a day out a couple of times a year.

Great idea and probably a lot of work to make, but certainly worth the effort for something so original.

I would love to find someone with a good profile or some basic drawings for this structure. I will have to do at least 4 or 5 mock ups to get it just right.

Just be sure to check the codes in your area. There a few municipalities where I live that won’t allow a bench like that unless the back of the seat is at least 36” high.
